ESECA Closing Session
The project ended with a closing session at ENLIT 2024, 23rd October 2024 in Milan, where the achievements of the project ESECA - European Sustainable Energy Cluster Partnership for Africa - were celebrated.
During the event, the project's results were presented, highlighting business opportunities and partnerships between European and African countries in the field of sustainable energy that have emerged through this initiative. Success stories were thoroughly explored, followed by a round table discussion where future collaborations in the energy sector could be explored.
This last activity closes 3 years of program to support SMEs in their development in five target markets in Africa: Senegal, Ghana, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Kenya. The project was very successful.
ESECA clusters will pursue their close collaboration to share opportunities in Africa for European SMEs from the smart grids and renewable energies sector.
Final Presentation
ESECA is a partnership formed by five European clusters from Spain, Germany, Italy and France financed by the European Commission as part of the COSME Clusters GO International programme. ESECA aims at intensifying business network collaboration among European companies from the renewable energy and smart grids sector to develop a joint internationalisation strategy towards Sub-Saharan African markets. Five target markets were identified to foster collaborations among European and African SMEs: Senegal, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda.
